Peanut Butter and Jam Overnight Oats

Get your day off to the most delicious start with our quick and delicious peanut butter and jam layered overnight oats.


Prepare the night before to allow the oats to soak up all those yummy flavours in the fridge overnight, then grab and go in the morning. Overnight oats are perfect to take to work or school or to just save time so you can have a few more minutes in bed!


Ingredients:

95g rolled oats

350ml milk (dairy or plant based)

2 heaped tbsp natural peanut butter

2 heaped tbsp jam of your choice

1 1/2 tbsp chia seeds optional ( for added fibre)

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

12oz - 16oz container with air tight lid (glass jars works perfectly)

Toppings of your choice (we like fresh berries and honey on ours)


Instructions:

  1. Whisk milk and vanilla extract together in a bowl

  2. Add the oats and chia seeds (optional) to milk and stir to combine

  3. Add 1/3rd oat mixture to container and layer with peanut butter and jam. Repeat 2 more times until your container is full of layers of oats, peanut butter and jam.

  4. Fix airtight lid to container and place in fridge for at least 2 hours or ideally overnight so that the oats can soak up all those delicious flavours.

  5. Once ready to eat top with your toppings of choice and enjoy!

Overnight oats will keep in the fridge for 2-3 days but are best eaten within the first 24 hours. Not freezer friendly.
